2026 Victoria Masters Long Course Meet

We need volunteers! Read about the volunteer positions below.

Island Swimming is providing timers and officials. If you are qualified to help with deck or booth jobs, please sign up here

For the positions below, email Dawn at meetmanager@victoriamasters.ca with your preferred role and times.

1) Judy Newman, lead Hospitality Coordinator, needs 3 - 4 people to receive, prep, and serve food to officials and timers; to help put out food for the post-meet social; and to help with clean-up. You can volunteer all day, or do one or two shorter shifts. Shifts: 8-11am, 11am-2pm, or 2-5pm

2) Announcer: Make announcements throughout the day regarding records, draw prizes, disqualifications, and any other important public address messages. Volunteer all day: 9:30am-6:30pm

3) Records assistant: 2-4 people to help with paperwork related to record attempts, record confirmation, and relay check-ins. All day: 9:30am-6:30pm. Or 3-4 people doing full and/or half-day shifts: 9:30am-1pm or 1-6:30pm

4) Meet close and clean-up: 2-4 people to put things away, clean up, collect lost and found, etc. Approximately: 5:30-7pm

5) Draw prize coordinator: 1-2 people to draw names, call out winners, and distribute prizes over the course of the day. Shifts: 11am-5 pm, 11am-2pm, 2pm-5pm
